Solidarity Clothing is a partnership in the truest sense of the word.

We believe that consumers, retailers, and wholesalers can work together with producers in a developing country, and help them earn a living wage for their families.

Our vision about poverty is simple and powerful. We believe that no person working a full day should live in poverty; that all labor, no matter how unskilled, should enable a person to feed his family; and that all labor should be dignified by a living wage that covers the basic needs: food, a decent home and sanitation, medical care and education. While we in the developed countries have everything we desire and even more, the majority of people live a life in dire poverty, a never ending story of unemployment, underemployment, hopelessness, illness and deprivation.

We live in luxury while millions of children in poor countries go without education, medical care and often even without a meal per day. At Solidarity Clothing we believe that an act as simple as shopping can have a tremendous impact on poverty alleviation if we purchase directly from the poor.
